SYNOPSIS: The life story of Jaqueline Rocha Côrtes, a Brazilian transsexual woman living with AIDS. Militant for the cause, Jacque has her life marked by struggles and achievements as representative of the Brazilian government in the United Nations. Today, married and the mother of two children, she lives in a small town and dedicates her life to motherhood and family. By following Jacque’s daily life and revisiting her career, the film presents the innumerable challenges that have been broken by the character and raises a reflection on prejudice, homo-lesbo-transphobia and gender identity.
