What are the perspectives for film festivals in a post-pandemic future, particularly concerning independent audiovisual promotion and diffusion? This table brings together distribution, production and film festival professionals, with the aim of discussing curatorship, virtual events, audience and topics that cross festivals circuit in view of the imminent resumption of activities in the sector.

João Ferreira: Lives in Lisbon and is the Queer Lisboa artistic director since 2004. Member of the jury at Berlinale and Cannes, as well as Bilbao, Turin, Prague, Vienna, São Paulo and Palermo queer festivals. Co-organizer of the books “Queer Film and Culture” (2014) and “O vírus-cinema: cinema queer e VIH/Sida” (2018).
Pedro Tinen: Film programmer, researcher and curator. German Chancellor Fellow by The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in Germany, where he researches the European film festivals net and the resuming operations post-pandemic. Member of Programmers of Colour Collective (POC2), and Mix Brasil and Mostra Ecofalante Festivals selection committee. Alumnus of Locarno Industry Academy program and Doclisboa and Márgenes Festivals RAW residential programmes. MA in Multimedia Studies by University of Campinas (Unicamp).
