Short films from all four corners of Brazil make up this year’s competition, in a diverse selection that emerges from this difficult pandemic period we’ve been living, revealing new perspectives, reflective voices, outrageous stories and rich, inventive visual worlds. From Santa Catarina to Piauí, many of the films in this selection propose a look inward, an understanding of the desires and singularities of LGBTQIA+ existences; others turn to the outside, to the fauna and flora of our daily lives, in incredible visual exercises.
