In a free adaptation of the famous novel “Story of the Eye”, by Georges Bataille, the Obscene Animals show is born. Combining music, acting and performance, Obscene Animals is part and parcel of the show “Story of the Eye – A Noir Fairy Tale Porn”, which premiered in June 2022 at the São Paulo International Theatre Festival, directed by Janaina Leite and accomplishment by Prêmio Zé Renato. Acclaimed by the public and critics, and with a packed season at the Teatro da Universidade de São Paulo (TUSP), the performance creators premieres the musical repertoire that makes up the show.
