The multi-artist, singer, songwriter, talk show host, actress and queen of wordplay made of her body a battleground and of her work, a great flag for trans, black and peripheral representation, both in artistic, aesthetic and political terms. In the world of music, his first album, “PAJUBÁ”, produced and directed by BADSISTA, brings a true fusion and profusion of rhythms, rhymes and provocations that mark the consolidation of a scene shared with so many other trans and queer voices of contemporary Brazilian music like Liniker, Raquel and Assucena. Featured in the musical performances of the 2016 and 2020 editions of Mix Brasil Festival, the strong autobiographical appeal of her compositions and the way in which the artist allows herself to explore the limits of the language put her voice at the center of a debate so hard and important for diversity nowadays.

On the big screen, the documentary “Bixa Travesty”, which opened the 26th edition of Mix Brasil and won the award from the audience at the event, covers Lina’s career, culminating in the production and elaboration of her album. It was screened and consecrated by several film festivals around the world, including the much-honored Teddy Award, at the Berlin International Film Festival, focused on LGBTQIA+ contributions in audiovisual. On TV, Lina was, side by side with Jup do Bairro, fronting the talk show “TransMissão” (TransMission), on Canal Brasil, and played the role of Natasha in the series “Second Call”, shown on Globo TV.

After participating in the 2022 edition of the reality show of wide national visibility, Big Brother Brasil, Lina continues to burst bubbles, expanding her reach and adding fronts to her ever so multi-faceted career.

In the celebration of 30 years of MixBrasil Festival, Lina (almost the same age as the festival) is inducted into the hall of celebrities honored with the Icon Mix award, alongside other historical and emblematic names, such as Marina Lima and Ney Matogrosso.

Linn da Quebrada “You should’ve know better than to die Should’ve know better than to kill (Júnior is dead) To rise from the ashes one had first to burn” Lina Pereira dos Santos, better known as Linn da Quebrada, was born in São Paulo, in 1990.
