The Brazilian Competition of Feature Films this year presents six powerful movies that explore very different energies, in some ways very centered on the idea of ​​family – essentially the family that welcomes, that brings affection and sense of belonging against the world around us, whether through of a small nucleus or a large community. From the backlands of the Northeast to the center of São Paulo, from Guanabara to the pages of LGBT+ newspapers and magazines that have marked our history, we see ourselves in our similarities and differences in sensitive, but strong and very vibrant narratives.
