-In a series of meetings with relevant queer authors in the Brazilian literary scene, we invite to explore formal central aspects of literary creation such as time, space, character, and narrator from a perspective of the debate between universalism and identitarianism. In the first and expository part of each session the facilitators will mediate readings of classic and contemporary texts, while the second part will be dedicated to suggested writing exercises based on each day\u2019s themes. In discussion circles, we propose a reflection on the students’ personal production paths. Some research axes will be instigated during the meetings, such as the current polarizations between universal and\/or identitary stories and characters; the focus on the everyday lives of identities erased from official narratives; the search for a distinct voice suited for diverse existences; ambiguity and paradox as structuring factors of characters and narratives; the problem of victimization; representations of the erotic body; and spatial-temporal choices in the writing of diverse experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
