Through images of self-affirmation and belonging, the artist couple brings together \u201ckwir\u201d and Creole experiences, addressing the construction of LGBT+ identities in the face of colonial legacies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kwir Nou \u00c9xist<\/strong> was first presented in Paris, at the <strong>Louvre Gardens<\/strong>, in July this year as part of the <strong>Paris l\u2019\u00c9t\u00e9<\/strong> festival. It was later shown on <strong>R\u00e9union Island<\/strong>.
