Mix Music is the first music festival aimed at the LGBTQIA+ audience in Brazil and has been around since the year 2000 as the musical arm of the Mix Brasil Festival of Culture of Diversity. Created by producer and activist Andre Pomba, and curated by Hanilton Medeiros, in 2022 Mix Music turns 23 years old and, as a preface to Mix Brasil Festival, held sessions in cities like Iguape and Boituva, in the countryside of São Paulo. Also, it will held the already traditional and most anticipated Mix Music New Talents at the Cultural Center of Diversity on the November 12th (Dance and Singing) and on the 13th (Drag Queen) with the always fun presentation of Silvetty Montilla. Project held with the support of the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy of São Paulo State Government, ProAC – Cultural Action Program.
