film. The encounter between strangers of the same family reveals that the apparent mirroring is a call to recount one’s own story — one that connects with those of many LGBTQIAPN+ people. Blending suspense and humor, “ANVIL” is the autofiction of a fat gay man born on a full-moon of a Friday the 13th.
