The workshop presented by filmmaker Joséphine Derobe explores the creative and technical journey behind Kancica, a collaborative experience developed by artists from Brazil, France, and Benin. The activity offers an immersion into the behind-the-scenes process of 360º dome production, delving into stages such as research, sensory scripting, immersive filming, and post-production, as well as the challenges of integrating ritual, body, and technology within a single spatial narrative. Participants will engage with concepts of generative art, spatial sound and directing for immersive environments, reflecting on new ways to create and experience audiovisual storytelling.
