Roman, in a state of shock from the death of his twin brother, encounters an apparently invincible solitude in mourning. When he enters a support group for people who have lost their twin, he gets to know Dennis — cultivated, ironic, and also suffering from loss — and an intense, unexpected and complex friendship develops between them. With a mixture of black humour, pain and desire of belonging, Twinless investigates how we carry the losses which shape us and the connections we try to weave to fill the gap.
