Renée is a ghost. She became one when she had to flee from Thailand in 2022 after writing a Facebook post. Since then, she has been seeking asylum in France. Yet her refugee status is still to be processed, and being a trans woman further complicates the procedure.
Therefore, alone and without any legal protection, she wanders around Paris in a suspended state, missing her cats and looking for moments of connection. However, through her unbearable lightness, a way home will be found.
